Meet n Greet
Pet World
Natick, MA
Sarah, Roxie #49, and Kelly had a very nice event today. It was
Roxie's first event and she greeted everyone marvelously! We spoke
with a lot of shoppers about RRUFF. We made a total of $44.41
in merchandise sales and donations.

Canine Good Citizen Testing Day
Canine Companion
Marlborough, MA
We had a full and fun day, 15 dogs were tested at our event. We
had lots of Rottweilers attend as well as a Samoyed and a Doberman.
All the dogs tested today passed their CGC! Including RRUFF foster
Roxie.
Thanks to Kelly, Lynne, Sarah, Aaron, and Bo for helping with
this event. RRUFF made $70 in test fees and donations.

Meet n Greet

Littleton, MA
Kelly and Sarah had a great day! No foster dogs could come to
the event today, but we still had quite a few visitors, and we
met lots of really nice dogs. That includes 3 Rottweilers who
came just to see us! There were lots and lots of kisses and pets,
and everyone had a great time! We had a chance to do some educating,
and we were so happy that Dave came and visited with us at our
booth. We made a total of $68 in merchandise and donations.

Roxie accompanied Kelly and Sarah to today's meet n greet and
was an excellent breed ambassador. She met lots of new people
and really enjoyed getting pets from everyone.

PetWorld Meet & Greet
Natick, MA
We had a good time at PetWorld's microchip clinic today. We even
had a donation of Reiki Massage for our new foster Roxie from
Lisa Ruthig of Lively Dog in Wayland, MA. We raised $37 in donations
and merchandise. We also had three new supporters join our iGive
shopping program. If you would like to shop and raise money for

Petco Meet & Greet
Auburn, MA
Today was our first day at Auburn Petco. It was a slow day today,
but we had a great spot right in the front of the store. We raised
$20 in donations and merchandise, and we started handing out the
iGive.com informational flyers! Plus we met lots of new folks!

It was a nice day at Petco. There were a lot of shoppers getting
Halloween items for their dogs. We made $57 in donations and merchandise,
and got more exposure for RRUFF!

Howl-o-ween
Canine Companion Marlborough, MA
What a day! Dave was kept busy taking pictures from the start
of the day until the end of the day. Our four-legged party guests
came in costumes (a punk, a bee, a lady bug, LOTS of Pumpkins!,
etc, etc) and enjoyed bobbing for hot dogs :) We had a wonderful
raffle with TONS of great prizes put together by Tanya D. (who
recently joined RRUFF as a volunteer - THANK YOU Tanya!) We even
had a photographer from a local newspaper stop by to get pictures
of the event! Our grand total for donations, raffle, merchandise
and pictures was $278!!!

NERF Fall Sieger Show
Blue Hills Reservation, Milton MA
What a wonderful weekend! Tons of beautiful Rottweilers and tons
of supportive Rottweiler folks! Saturday there were ~57 puppies
showing and Sunday ~25 adults showing.
RRUFF fosters Gracie and Angel came both days and impressed the
crowds. Both dogs were very well behaved and did very well with
all the excitement! RRUFF raised $233 in merchandise & donations!
Thanks to the volunteers who helped at the show.

RRUFF's Yankee Candle Fundraiser was very successful. Total sales
came to $712.00, so RRUFF will receive $285.00 from this fundraising
event.

Petco Meet & Greet
Leominster MA
It was a quiet day at Petco - must have been the beautiful day!
I didn't have many visitors that day at the RRUFF booth, but I
did have several Rottweiler folks stop by to chat. RRUFF raised
$68 in merchandise & donations.

10th Annual Petrock
Quinsigamond Community College Worcester, MA
It was a bit drizzly this year, but the rain held off & we raised
just over $200. Angel the foster dog came to Petrock and did very
well. Thanks to all the volunteers and supporters who braved the
rain, puddles, and mud to help RRUFF. June 8, 2008
Paws in the Park
Lincoln, MA
It was a very
hot day, but the “Paws In The Park” event sponsored
by Save A Dog brought in $281 for RRUFF. Thank you to everyone
who volunteered and attended this event!

The weather held out and we had a great day for the Canine Good
Citizens testing and Photo Day held at Best Friends in Tyngsboro,
MA. RRUFF received $115.00. Thank you to everyone who came and
volunteered!

We had a great pet picture day at Canine
Companion in Marlborough MA. Dave took beautiful pictures, as
always! We had a slow but steady flow of dogs in to get their
holiday pictures (many of which were repeat customers from past
events.)

RRUFF participated in the 9th Annual Pet
Rock Festival at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester,
MA. Thanks to donations and merchandise sales RRUFF made $160.

up and organizing this event.

RRUFF received $250 of grant money from
the Rottweiler Rescue Foundation.

Despite a soggy start to the day RRUFF
had a terrific turn out! Volunteers and local businesses made
donations or donated their time for this event. The event included
pictures, CGC testing, bake sale, raffle, microchip clinic and
food for humans and canines. There was also agility try-its
and a mini rally-o course set up, but the dog wash was cancelled
because of the weather. RRUFF made around $150 from donations,
pictures and merchandise.
Thanks to Dunkin Donuts for donating 2
dozen donuts and 2 dozen bagels for the bake sale as well as
to the Litchfield Taylor Rental for the use of a 10x10 pop up
tent for the day. Special thanks to Tammy & Carl Anderson
and crew who were a HUGE help with the cooking, manning the
RRUFF table and helping with the CGC testing. Also to Gretta
and Meghan for all the planning and set up help as well as baking
some incredible brownies!! Mike for manning the RRUFF table,
helping with set up and take down. Lastly a HUGE thank you to
Dave for driving all the way to CT for the day and taking amazing
pictures that everyone loved!! Great job everyone!!

RRUFF's Fall 2007 Yankee Candle Fundraiser
was a big success. Total sales came to $1,162 of which RRUFF
will receive 40%!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better representative
of both the breed and our organization than Tasha #36. She strutted
her stuff wearing a Fido Fleece donated by Nancy at Litchfield
Pet Supply. RRUFF took in only $18.00, but we made a big impact
on the public.
